COBRA (b. 1981, Japan) received his BFA Department of Ceramic, Glass and Metal Works from Tama Art University, Tokyo, Japan. He is the co-director of XYZ collective, an artist-run-space in Tokyo founded in 2011. He has extensively exhibited in Japan and also at 356 Mission Rd, Los Angeles; Springsteen, Baltimore, USA; The Apartment, Vancouver, Canada.
