COOPER COLE is a contemporary art gallery in Toronto, Canada, founded in 2011. Through exhibitions, research, and artist representation, the gallery champions diverse artistic voices, focusing on practices that engage with cultural, social, and material histories. Committed to fostering meaningful dialogue, COOPER COLE supports artists across disciplines and generations, forging connections that transcend geographic and ideological boundaries.
The gallery upholds principles of inclusivity, equity, anti-oppressive practices, and community engagement, striving to dismantle systemic barriers, amplify underrepresented perspectives, and cultivate meaningful relationships within and beyond the art world. Gallery artists have been included in major biennials and exhibitions at leading international institutions, and their work is held in significant public and private collections in Canada and abroad.
COOPER COLE presents a dynamic program of exhibitions across its two gallery spaces in Toronto and participates in major international art fairs, extending the reach of its artists through exhibitions, acquisitions, and sustained institutional relationships. The gallery specializes in curated exhibitions and private sales, offering collectors access to original paintings, sculpture, photography, textiles, and multimedia works. It also provides collection advisory, art rentals for film and television, and personalized support for collectors seeking to acquire, build, and manage contemporary art collections.
The gallery is a proud member of the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA), and the Gallery Climate Coalition (GCC).
COOPER COLE also acknowledges that we operate on the traditional territory of many Indigenous Nations. For years, the area known as Tkaronto (Toronto) has been care-taken by the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples, and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. We also acknowledge that Tkaronto is covered by Treaty 13, signed with the Mississaugas of the Credit and the Williams Treaties. This territory is subject to the Dish with One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement to peaceably share and care for the Great Lakes region.

The main floor gallery space at 1134 Dupont Street is wheelchair accessible, however the other exhibitions spaces, all-gender bathroom, and 1136 Dupont Street are accessed via staircases which may present difficulties for those with physical disabilities.
