COOPER COLE is pleased to announce Leaning With Feelings, a solo show by Canadian artist Les Ramsay.
Les Ramsay (b. 1976, Vancouver, Canada) creates art that is rooted in formal Abstraction. His material process incorporates collage and sculptural elements which explore the boundaries of contemporary painting. Ramsay received his BFA in Visual Arts in 2007 from the Emily Carr University in Vancouver, and also studied at the Bellas Artes, Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Spain, and is currently an MFA candidate in the Painting & Drawing department at Concordia University. His work has been exhibited in Canada, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Berlin, and the United States. This is Ramsay’s first solo exhibition with the gallery. Ramsay currently lives and works in Montreal, Canada.
