Joshua Abelow

Joshua Abelow (b. 1976, Frederick, USA) earned his MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2008 and his BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1998. His solo shows include exhibitions at James Fuentes, New York, USA in 2011 and 2013; Tomorrow, Toronto, Canada, Sorry We’re Closed, Brussels, Belgium, Brand New Gallery, Milan, Italy. Abelow’s work has been included in numerous group exhibitions worldwide. In 2011, Abelow published a memoir titled ‘Painter’s Journal’ about his adventures in New York City in the late 1990s as a young artist. From 2010 to 2015, he ran ART BLOG ART BLOG, which functioned as art blog, temporary gallery and a print publication. Abelow is currently based in Harris, USA.
