JD Walsh (b. 1976, Arlington, USA) holds an MFA from Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts, Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, and a BFA from Alfred University, Alfred, USA. He has exhibited at galleries including Nicole Klagsbrun, New York; Sardine, Cleopatra’s, Brooklyn; Halsey McKay, East Hampton, USA; Galerie Steinek, Vienna, Austria. His public art installation Ensemble for Mixed Use was commissioned by the City of Toronto for the 2012 Nuit Blanche festival. His work has been written about in Artforum, Flash Art, and Sculpture Magazine, among others. Walsh lives and works in Brooklyn, USA.
