Bernard Pfitzner (b. 1952, Dortmund, Germany). His mental disability was not recognized in childhood, he lived in an orphanage. Pfitzner was looked after and promoted by his foster father, but he did not attend a special school or had any other form of employment. In 1970 he was admitted to a residential group of the Alexians. He has exhibited at Kunsthaus Kannen, Münster, Germany. Bernard Pfitzner lives and works in Münster, Germany.
