Gerald Ferguson

Gerald Ferguson (b. 1937, Cincinnati, USA – 2009, Halifax, Canada) received his MFA from Ohio University in 1962. He taught at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design from 1968 until his retirement in 2006. During his career as an artist, which spans over four decades, he exhibited internationally at such venues as 1,000,000 PFENNIG, Cologne, Germany; Vitrine, Paris, France; The Museum of Conceptual Art, San Francisco; Museum of Modern Art, New York, USA; National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa; Vancouver Art Gallery, Vancouver; Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, Halifax; and the Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto, Canada. Ferguson passed away in Halifax in 2009.
