Gee Vaucher

Gee Vaucher (b. 1945, Dagenham, East London) is a visual artist best known for her work creating record covers, newsletters and video collages for the punk band Crass during the 1980s. Her surrealist influenced collage work has been hugely influential on protest and anti-war art, as well as the punk anarchist movements of her time. Her work has been exhibited internationally and included in a number of books and publications, including Crass Art and Other Pre Post-Modernist Monsters published by Exitstencil Press, of which Vaucher is publisher. Vaucher currently lives and works in south-west Essex, England.
