Andrew Jeffrey Wright (b. Saint Petersburg, USA) holds a BFA in Animation from the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, USA. He is a current and founding member of Space 1026, Philadelphia, USA. He explores all mediums in his practice, including painting, animation, drawing, collage, photography, sculpture, video, installation, screen printing and performance. The collaborative animation “the Manipulators”, which he made with Clare E. Rojas, has won the top prize for animation at the New York Underground Film Festival and the New York Comedy Film Festival. He has shown at The Hole, New York; THIS Gallery, New Image Art, Los Angeles; ICA, Philadelphia, USA; Lamp Harajuku, Tokyo; and Foundation Cartier, Paris, France; amongst others. Wright currently lives and works in Philadelphia, USA.
