Jacob Ciocci

Jacob Ciocci (b. 1977, Lexington, USA) received his BA in computer science and art from Oberlin College, Oberlin and his MFA from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA. He is a founding member of the east coast art collective Paper Rad. His work is concerned with the relationships between popular culture, technology and notions of transcendence. His work has shown at such venues as Cleveland Museum of Contemporary Art, Cleveland; Interstate, Cleopatra’s, Brooklyn; Foxy Production, Printed Matter, New York; Minotaur Projects, Light and Wire Gallery, Los Angeles, USA; Green on Red Gallery, Dublin, Ireland; ŠKVER Art Projekt Losinj, Croatia; CPH:DOX, Copenhagen; and Berlin Documentary Forum, Berlin, Germany. Ciocci lives and works between Brooklyn and Oberlin, USA.
